    Memberships

Hermitage is looking for applicants with suitable historic craft built prior to 1965 to join this unique self managed mooring development. Applicants should either currently own or be prepared to purchase a vessel that is in original or ‘in trade’ condition and has not been significantly altered through conversion to residential use. Contact us with your address, telephone number and details (including photograph) of the vessel you currently own or intend to buy. Suitable candidates will be contacted for interview.

There are specific criteria for vessels on the mooring, determining length, draft, freeboard, and of course historical character. All vessels must be maintained in a seaworthy condition and hold a Boat Safety Certificate. Vessels will be judged on their historical authenticity and their historical relevance to London and the Thames.

Please note the overall length of the vessel, including anchors, fixed bowsprits and extended rudders, must not exceed the length of the berth on offer. The current fee is £4,660/m.
